EMS BIO CLEAN specialises in one thing: the safe, lawful and discreet remediation of spaces contaminated by blood, bodily fluids and traumatic events. It is difficult work that most cleaning companies are neither trained nor equipped to do — and we do it every day across Southern California.
Someone has to be willing to do this work
After a death, an accident or a violent incident, families are left with a room they cannot enter and a problem nobody prepared them for. Their regular cleaner will not touch it. Friends want to help but do not know how. The insurance paperwork is in a language nobody speaks.
That is the moment we exist for. We arrive knowing what we are looking at, take responsibility for the part nobody else can handle, and give the space back in a condition people can live in again.
It is not glamorous work. It requires training, equipment and a particular kind of steadiness. We think it deserves to be done by people who take it seriously — and that the families going through it deserve to be treated with respect rather than sold to.

Most of our calls come from someone having one of the worst weeks of their life. We do not add to that. No upselling, no fear tactics, no judgement about the state of a home or how long something was left.

If a situation does not need professional remediation, we say so and lose the job. If something will cost more than you expect, we say that too. Our reputation rests on being straight with people.
Discretion is not an add-on
Unmarked vehicles. No signage. No discussion with neighbours, landlords or building management about why we are there. Confidentiality is how the service is delivered, not an extra we offer.
We do the whole job properly
Containment, removal, disinfection at verified dwell times, odour treatment at source, and lawful disposal with documentation. Anything less is not remediation — it is tidying up and hoping.
How the work is actually done
Biohazard remediation is a regulated procedure, not a deeper kind of cleaning. The difference is in the detail — and the detail is what protects you.
We are trained and insured for the work we perform, and can supply certification records, a certificate of insurance and a W-9 on request — for homeowners, landlords, agencies and insurers alike.
Bloodborne pathogen protocols
Technicians are trained and equipped to work safely around blood and bodily fluids, and to avoid carrying contamination out of the work area.
EPA-registered disinfectants
Products applied at the correct concentration and dwell time. A disinfectant wiped off too early has not done its job, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Regulated waste chain
Biohazardous waste is packaged, labelled and transported to appropriately permitted facilities, with manifest documentation.
Documented clearance
Photographic records, scope notes and a written clearance summary on completion, so you can prove what was done.
